Mommy, hug our house

My youngest child is now five years old. This is his last year in kindergarten. After his dentist appointment today, we decided to go back home as it was already 11 am. As soon as we came home; «I missed you my house», he said and hugged the wall. «mommy, hug our house » he said. «Ok beloved, I will hug the house, after I park the wheelchair ok?» He went inside our apartment. He came back as I parked the wheelchair. «mommy, hug our house» I hugged the wall and thanked it for being our home. We have never hugged our home before, but it totally makes sense!

Gratitude in a child’s heart.
